Study focus

To maintain objectivity I have to keep asking questions myself to make sure not to draw the wrong conclusions. This is due to the fact that I have some prior knowledge of the Rapture and that should not be in the way for this study. 

Questions text analysis:

The questions we need to ask ourselves for each text that is meant for research are listed as follows:

• Is the text to be taken literal or not?
  • If it is not literal, find out what the literal sense is.
• Is the text unambiguous, can we draw a single conclusion?
• Is the text referring to the Rapture?
• Is the text referring to a related event of the Rapture?
• Are there (relative) time references?
• Are there references to other events?

Research:

1. What do we know about the Rapture itself?
2. In what verses in the Bible is the Rapture mentioned?
3. What is the context of the Rapture in relations to other events?
4. What has the Rapture to do with the Last week of Daniel?
5. What is without dispute the Day of the Lord?
