What has the Rapture to do with the Last week of Daniel?

I must admit that I do not enter this study with total objectivity as I read about it before.  And one of the most nagging things I found that I cannot yet take a stand at is the last week of Daniel of what that exactly entails. Here some very important decisions have to be made.

Because some of the viewpoints of the Rapture particularly have roots in Daniel 9 verse 20-27. Some churches see the last week of Daniel as a period of seven years (which is correct) that follows up on the Rapture. So in this viewpoint the saints are Raptured (somewhere) before the last week.

The last week of Daniel says actually literally the last seven years of this (fallen) planet. And that is why this text is eschatological and therefore closely related to the book of Revelation and other texts concerning the end of everything.

The Rapture in this sense also an eschatological event. Because the Rapture is the great Christian hope that we will not be suffer under God's Wrath among the wicked of this Earth. No, instead millions will disappear, or more likely, millions of dead bodies will be seen around the world in a blink of an eye. And the wicked are stuck with trying to burry those bodies.

The construct of the last week is very important and what that fully entails. Especially what is events are synchronous in time with this last week.

Investigation focus:

Split up the time of the last week into parts, find event synchronization with these parts. These of course must be verified and True.
