The Bible says the beginning of wisdom starts with the fear of God. The reason the Bible says this, is to make people think Who they are up against, Who will judge them in the end. Because God is all righteous and holy, and He does not look upon the person, if you look nice, or if you where sophisticated, or if you donated a lot of money... if you are not His, then all your works however good you think these were are all irrelevant and futile. If you did not fear God and did not repent, which is in itself unwise, then the accuser will have you, and God's verdict will be terrible and eternal.

God of Faith

The un-repented rely on their works, like they think that God exists, and by their "good" works they think they'll earn themselves a place in heaven. But the real God is a God of faith, making all your works futile. But it is also logical. If you steal and get caught, you will not be let free because you bought flowers on mother's day. And your sins are already countless to you - but God does keep count for each sin. And so your punishment shall be accordingly. So, works does not cut it. But faith does. Yes indeed, you can only be saved by faith. 

That is why people should want to know God, because this life is short, but the next is eternal. But that is only for starters. God says not only does He have all wisdom that is good for man and woman. He only gives those wisdom whom He chooses, and how much wisdom each person is given. And that wisdom is only obtained when God chooses you to be one of His own.

The Gospel, that calls for repentance, to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, is one great condition to be considered by God for His choosing to adopt you as His own. The condition shows this has nothing to do with any works but only a heart that wants to repent. This also means that the accuser has no hold on you once you have received Grace, and Jesus Christ will write you down in the Book of Life. Meaning, all your sins have been forgiven. From that point on the sanctification process starts to become in Christs Image, which is the walk of life of each Christian. And this is difficult and cannot be done on your own. You need God's help constantly. But that's what you get as it is promised. The walk of life means you are in motion to become holy in your walk while the Holy Spirit will guide you and steer you and makes you attentive to sin whenever you are tempted by it.

So this is the ultimate wisdom for each and every soul on earth. Because no one wants to spend his or her life eternally in hell. It is guaranteed that hell is most terrible and it forever. That seems unfair to most. But the wicked will stay wicked, even in hell, and that is why by their own rebellion to their punishment they keep blaspheming the Most Hight in hell extending punishment for ever. This is by the way the reason why real Christians love their enemies because the powers of this world is in the hands of Satan.

Many in this world have been led astray by:

• false religion,
• evolution theories,
• the creation account of everything; invented ideas by people like Carl Sagan,
• those who deny the flood while all the evidence is there,
• those who think we are created by aliens,
• etc..

And many spiritual walls have been put there by Satan to have you believe lies rather than the Truth, the Truth which is revealed by God in His Word. And all God does is give you an open door so you can run to Him to be saved from the "wisdom" of the world.

Don't get me wrong. A lot good brains are out there that are smart, creating all kinds of technologies. But a lot has been absorbed by society which is total humbug. It's that "wisdom" of the world that attacks the Bible, producing lies and denying the Truth for their own gain or comfort. But God said in the Bible in His Glory, He will make all the wise and powerful look like fools. Like they made foolish the only living True God.

Want to gain Divine Wisdom?

God made clear that no one is capable by himself to be revealed the Truth. If you want to gain God's Wisdom and Truth from the Word then, in order to do that, your heart has to be in the right place first. It is not like studying physics or something. Your heart has to be directed to Jesus Christ. God does not adopt anyone who is not sincere about repenting. So, it is a condition of the heart and not of the mind. That is why no-one can convince you to believe. The question is, what does your heart say? Do you see the good that Jesus has done? Do you see the evil in you? Do you feel the need to repent, to be forgiven for all your sins? Do you fear God? Do you fear hell?

No priest or pastor on earth can forgive you for your sins. He can only pray for you that you will be forgiven - that you will receive Grace of God because you want to repent. All Christians have direct access to the Father through Jesus Christ, nothing, but nothing is done for you if it is not in His Name and not in His Will. 

From belief to knowledge & trust

At a certain point many many questions have been answered through the magnificent life of a Christian discovering the Word, the revelation of God. Reaching a certain point shows you knowledge and trust rather then believing. There is no doubt in your mind, belief is turned into knowledge and the knowledge is sound and the trust in the Lord is unbreakable. The peace of Christ in your heart is assured - this peace I have, but cannot explain, is as it is said, exactly like that in the Bible.

Good works

To get back to works, Christians have works. Surely we all do. But because we are in the sanctification process we do what God wants, and what He wants is good. Those works are very different then the "good" works of the wicked. Because we work that you will not go to hell by just doing a few simple things:

1. To tell you the Gospel, as I said we cannot "convince" - we can only throw some seed.
2. To be there for you, if you want to know more and get close to God - the seed might grow

If God sees you want to be His child, then He will do the work in you. No man does that for you. So, if you or anyone believes, it is not your work, but He has chosen you and worked in you to change your heart.
