The Assyrians
When you read the Bible you'll see in the old and new testament that God knows the hearts of men. It is something to take in concern all the time because it explains a lot. For instance, when you read about that God uses literally the Assyrians to punish His own people. Now when you read that at first glance you first think like, that is not fair, is it? Because when the Assyrians came they slaughtered a lot of Jews.
You would almost think that it isn't even their doing. But hell, it is their doing. God made a covenant with the Jewish people and He also warned them what would happen if they turned away from Him. And that explicitly means when His people are turning to evil. So they would be punished for that.
Now, the fact that God gave the Assyrians a target does not mean the Assyrians are not guilty of anything. Because in their hearts they were already evil. Probably evil with no hope of salvation. God sees through the hearts of men. And because God is righteous He would not put a righteous man in the lead for punishing the Jews. ( If there were any righteous men... ).
So, yes, those Assyrians are guilty and on the day of Judgement they will be held accountable and punishment from God will be according to His Righteous Judgement. But also the Jews who turned their backs on the Lord, they will also receive what is due to them.
Today's governments
Even in this day, especially now with Iran and Israel prophecies are being fulfilled. But let no-one in government who uses evil think he is righteous because he maybe doing a part in God's plan. So we have to think again before drawing conclusions. Iran and its proxies are being used for evil because they are evil to the core. They have genocide in their minds and they did not make secret of it. In fact they openly said it in the UN - Israel is to wiped from the chart they said.
All of what is happening on the world stage is for the Glory of Jesus Christ in the first place, and secondly for the redemption of Israel. The sad part is the evil minded do not know they are being used. Because a chance for ever lasting life is for all who are walking around on this planet. But if the heart does not want the light, it stays in the dark.
Rebirth
Another example of maybe something that is misunderstood is the assumption that once you are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost you are saved. But that can't be that simple. Because birth in itself is not controlled by you. And so there is no ritual that can enforce Holy Spirit to indwell you. In this case it is a devine decision and a devine event that comes when God sees fit, (if at all). We can consider that first thing we had to remember:
- What is the condition of the heart?
If you want to be baptized, but you are not ready to give up idolatry or some other sin, God may not give you rebirth at all, unless you are ready to be done with sin, even the ones you do not know of. Sadly in false churches people think they are saved while they are not. Satan mixed things of the flesh with the Bible in those churches, therefore you see things happening in those false churches that are totally off because their leadership is evil and has no indwelling of the Holy Spirit - and therefore Satan is their father, and so it is with all their followers. Therefore read the Bible and pray for revelation to see the Truth. Because the truth is hidden or obscured for those who do not want to repent.
Secondly look at the conversation between Nicodemus and Jesus in John 3:1-21. With emphasis to this:
7 (Jesus:) You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
So you do not know when exactly you are born of the Spirit. This confirm it. The Holy Spirit does not say: "here I am"... You just can't know.
The spiritual rebirth in essence means to be converted to be like Jesus Christ. And that needs a new heart, and that is what Jesus promised. The work of the Holy Spirit is to make pace with you to change your heart. And when that happens YOU are really changing. Because if you change for the good of God, it is not your work!
Understand the moment you are saved is the moment when God decides to have His Holy Spirit indwell in you. That moment in itself is mostly not known by anyone at all. But when the Holy Spirit indwells you are immediately starting the process of sanctification. And that takes time. There are certain tells that verify your salvation is granted and that you are working on sanctification:
- You have a great thirst to know all about Jesus Christ, the Bible
- You want to learn more about how to live like Jesus
- You are beginning to see much more evil around you then you are used to, you begin to hate the world
- You are beginning to see evil in yourself that you did not see before you were saved
- You are seeing answers poring in various ways for the questions about the Bible that you prayed for - you'll see this is not coincidence anymore, the Holy Spirit helping you!
- You are beginning to deny yourself more and more, to do the things of God
- Your conscience is ever more troubled with righteousness
The voice of the Spirit keeps you on the right path, because He is the One who troubles your mind when you are about to do something wrong. Don't mistake the term "voice" for that The Holy Spirit is talking to you. There is no dialog here. He troubles your mind or sets your mind to things of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
To me as I understand Scripture, the baptizing event is something that Jesus did and we should do too, but it necessarily does not mean for us that this is the moment that we receive the Holy Spirit. The baptizing is a sort of confirmation event to the church with the intent to become a brother or sister - because from our point view - we simply cannot see if you are saved. Like the people who received the Holy Spirit with Pentecost; they were probably baptized weeks or months ago. But they received the Holy Spirit at Pentecost as they were followers of Jesus - and did not forsake Him.
What about you
Are you going to change your heart too? The Bible says, you cannot possibly do it on your own. You are to weak to combat sin, therefore spiritual rebirth is necessary, and by the power of the Holy Spirit you will be changed, a new heart will grow.
It is like a Matrix decision, if you want to go on live you life like you do now, take the blue pill and stay a child of darkness. That is confronting isn't it? Because in your own self-righteousness you think you are good. But not according to God, and He calls the shots - if you want to know why - read the Bible. But to I will give you a hint. Just like Adam and Eve - the first disobedience introduced death to all of creation. So if you have never sinned like Jesus Christ, not even in the mind, then you'd be perfect. Like Jesus is, like the Father is, and like the Holy Spirit is. But you are not perfect, are you. For God you cannot erase your sins by helping an old woman cross the street now and then. Guilty is guilty. That is when you face a Holy and Righteous God as your Judge.
Take the red pill and be adopted as a child of light and no-one can snatch from the Father's hand. Your are sealed as a child of God because the Holy Spirit indwells you. You are saved and the Father will forgive your sins because you accepted His Son Jesus Christ whom He let slay as a punishment for our Sins. This means we owe Jesus our lives. And He owes us period because nothing came to be what exists without the Word - and the Word is Jesus Christ. Amen.
The pill here is the heart and only from the heart God looks if you are sincere, you can't fake anything, only to everyone around you, but not God.
By the way
Don't throw the "God is love" - card at me. It is getting old. God is love is Godly love. Human love is of the flesh. And these are totally not the same. But God's love was showed by the offering of His Son to the world as a substitute for our sins. And He suffered greatly for that. Now that is love. To die on the cross for you! Thus Gods love was already shown, but the hearts of men want to stay in the dark. But know this, Gods love to the world is unconditional - he showed that by the offering Jesus Christ who died for all of us. But to get to heaven is conditional and the condition is Jesus Christ. He is the Messiah the Savior.
If I were you, take the red pill, because the only living eternal God also punishes eternally. Wisdom starts with the fear of God. Amen.

| SHORTS: The Jewish people and Christians |

People think that Christians are connected to the Jews. And that we are for the Jews all the time. Both assumptions are absolutely wrong.
The first point is that God choose the Jews as the first of all people that would come to know Himself. That started out a long time ago with what is written in the Old Testament when Moses appeared. Nobody was a Christian then. When the Jews were led out of Egypt the Law came and Israel was commanded to uphold the Law and not to mix with other people. God saw that if there were mixed marriages the Law would be violated. Because the gentiles would bring their own (sinful) religion which is more of the flesh and not of the Spirit. Also known as the doctrine of demons.
In the old testament there were only Jews, and the rest of all the people of the world, are the gentiles. So, if you are a Christian and not a Jew, you have nothing in common with the Jewish people, unless you are a Christian and a Jew. But there are not too many of those. One choosen people by God who would honor the real God of the universe (and all the heavens).
But the history of Israel was not very consistent with following the Law or God's commands. Many times the Jewish people would go astray and then God would send them judges, kings and prophets to rule Israel but also to warn Israel because God sets His limits.
The build up in the old testament points to the coming of the Messiah. But strangly enough the Jewish people at the time and even today deny that Jesus Christ is their Messiah. While everything Jesus did is fulfillment what the prophets said about Him in the old testament. It was even prophisied that the Jewish people would be blinded to see the Truth in their own scriptures and this because they denied Jesus Christ who was there to save them. Instead, as we know, they accused Him and wanted Him to be crusified like a criminal.
The Bible speaks of a veil that is put over the Jewish people because God said these people dont see with their eyes and do not hear with their ears. And that veil is even on today on many of the Jews. We can show Isaiah 53 and tell them that that points to Jesus and all other references. But still you see that they do not want to affirm it, they just dismiss it. It is even surprising that they do not read their own prophets anymore. They only read commentaries on commentaries - and like a wisper of a message relayed through dozens of people the original message gets lost.
But not all Jews are like that fortunately. Some Jews indeed see the connection to Christ and then the eyes are opened, the veil is lifted.
For a Christian it is not important who you are, Jew, Russian, Persian or Chinese .... the only thing that matters is that you should be saved. God did not come to earth to make peace. No, on the contrary, as God said Himself that He is the opposite of the world (the people of the world) - following Him means to be in war with yourself, and because you need to change, to the dislike of others, you'll find opposition even in your own household.
Christ said it like this: Whomever wants to follow me denies himself (because God is of the Spirit, and we are of the flesh).
In reaction to the first assumption. Christians are only in such a way connected to Jews because Jews and Christians deal with the One and Only True Living God. The big difference with Judaism and Christianity is Christ Himself. He is the Messiah and God. Christians recognize Him as the Messiah, Judiasm does not. Then, the Holy trinity, where also the Holy Spirit of God is also a member of the the Trinity is not recognized by Judaism. Those difference are huge. But it gets worse. In Judiasm the Jews still expect the Messiah to come while He already came to save the world nearly 2000 years ago. But the messiah that comes in the very near future is not the real messiah - because this one will be full of Satan's deception as he wants to kill all Jews.
So, what can a Christian say of a Jewish person (or anyone else)? Anyone that does not confess Christ as the Savior (as God, as the first born of the dead), is not my brother or sister, but my neighbor. The love of a Christian to a neighbor is expressed by proclaiming the Gospel as this the only way to everlasting life - even when we are ridiculed for it, or even slain for it. Yes and we know also that no-one who is of this world really wants to hear the message of Jesus Christ. Yet it is the only way to save you.
Israel in the end-time will at some point stand alone. A lot will be changed and it is soon to come. Satan wants to destroy Israel, and he does that with many of his allies in this world and we know which people in particular wants genocide of the Jews - Hitler all over again - but worse. Christians feel deep sympathy for the Jewish people because of the curse that is on them. I do believe that any other people would not do any better than the Jews themselves as a choosen people - so really, let not anyone think he is better than a Jew. But there is also a redemption plan for His people (Israel) in motion, God made that very clear. As Christians we hope that many Jews will see that Jesus is the Messiah and the way to everlasting life.
What was made clear to us Christians in the New Testament, the Jews are the root of the tree. And we Christians are just grafted on that tree for those who are saved. We all should bless Israel as they are the root, and the root will suffer greatly in the end-times.
This does not mean that Christians approve what Jews do in general like in politics. That is a great misconception because we Christians have the Law and Gods commands too. And it says that we should love our neighboor as ourselves (equal to the greatest command). And our neighboor is anyone: non-Christians, Christians and Jews.
The first Chistians were the Apostles (all Jews), and the Gospel was then told to Jews and Gentiles. Again the Jews are the root of tree, also for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They told the world!

| SHORTS: Doubts and Troubles - Can I loose my salvation? |

The word of God is to be studied by anyone who seeks salvation, Scripture is the only source of Truth. If you want to live forever in peace and harmony with God then check every reference and the whole story for Truth, because without it, nothing would make any sense. Scripture makes sense from beginning to end.
This is also something I have known not for no too long. Although it sounds relative, I have been in the real faith for about 4 years. Just to give you an idea. But unfortunately, it is possible to loose your salvation, but the only cause will be you.
Nobody, not even the devil can snatch you away from your salvation. But you have free will. To illustrate this, Jesus had deciples and up til the moment He said that He must die on the cross while not being guilty of sin. This was for most unacceptable and while being in the very presence of God (read Jesus is God), most of these deciples forsook Him, that is the ultimate sin.
See John 6:66 - (yes you read well, not a coincidence):
66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed Him.
To put this in analog to the Christians after Pentecost - if you are saved you are indwelled by the Holy Spirit. Once you keep sinning and turn away from the Gospel, The Holy Spirit will probable have tried to stop you at first, but if your heart is persistent in turning away, it is quite the same as what these desciples did. The Holy Spirit leaves you, never to return. That is the Judgement of God.
For any Christian (saved) to stay Christian is keeping the faith, meaning praying and reading/studying the Word of God - and to perservere and endure.
My recommendation
Seek the (real) brothers and sisters in Christ. The real church is not a building. It is those who seek Truth and follow and have faith in Christ and who view Scripture as the only source of Truth. So brother or sister, keep the Faith. Amen.

| SHORTS: Doubts and Troubles - What happens to others?! |

Before anything below is read. It is up to you to understand and check full context and conclusions based upon Scripture. If there are any references mentioned to Scripture, read the whole chapter, or rather the whole book.
When we talk about salvation through Jesus Christ, the non-repented - who have not studied the Word of God, always get to a particular question or being judgemental that God is not just. But be aware of that thought, it is sin already. God is Just. The question in particular or the judgemental background is composed like this:
- So everyone born before Christ's ministry goes to hell.
- Everyone who does not know that Christ ever existed goes to hell.
- The mentally incapabable go to hell, because they do not understand repentance.
- Babies or little children go to hell - as they do not know what sin is yet?
The Great Commandments
The first thing that comes to mind for me is, God is Just, and He created you.. He'd be millions and millions steps ahead of you in any direction. Meaning all the questions you have He already Judged - and God is Just. First and foremost; being evil is a condition of the heart.
Therefore the Greatest Command of God is, read Matthew 22:34-40: Jesus Replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind". But then Jesus says: And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
There is no Law against whom follow both or one of these commandments. So that takes care first two arguments.
Also read Romans 2:12-16:
12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) 16 This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.
Faith is very important to God, because not believing God is sin. Because then you accuse Him of being a liar. While He is Pure and Just. In the Old Testament you see that for instance Abraham was declared righteous by God because Abraham believed Him.
Do not mistake
For those who do not repent to Christ, they might interpret Romans 2:12-16 as a nice backdoor. "Love they neighbor like you love yourself" - may seem easy in your own selfrighteousness. Most seculars think they are good and worthy for Heaven because of their works. But they forget that this task and interpretation of what that Love is, is not seen through your eyes, but through God's Eyes and that how they are judged. The two kinds of love are guaranteed not the same because His Love is Spiritual and Pure and yours is polluted with worldly thinking. We know God the Father through the Son, and so you will see and understand His Righteousness and what He sees as Love. But if you gamble on your own selfrighteousnes...(I would not recommend it, I'd rather know God!). It is said by Jesus that not many go to Heaven even of those who said to believe in Him because not many will want to follow the Way, let alone a gentile trusting on his selfrighteousness and does not want to know God through Jesus.
The incapable
Well, even with our human minds, thinking about babies, children and the mentally incapable, the answer should be very simple... God is Righteous, how do you think He would judge!
A small note on the mentally incapable just to be clear. I refer to those people who have this condition by birth or accident, not by self-infliction like using drugs. Because the Lord sees that as sin. Also a drunk can be seen as a mentally incapable - but that is also self-inflicted. God is spiritual and if man willfully pollutes his mind, sin is at the door.
My Conclusion
God's judgement is ultimate and fair. And He is the only one who makes the rules. For Gentiles, for Christians, for Jews, for those who died before Christ and those who died after Christ. And Christ is the Judge of all. Amen.
